Responsibilities

As an Associate Project Developer, you will leverage your passion for clean energy and sustainability to develop offerings for local governments, K-12 schools, higher education facilities, and mid to large sized commercial and industrial clients.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Complete outreach to prospects in target markets within the Northeast
  • Qualify single and multi-measure opportunities for improving the efficiency of the lighting, controls, building envelope, HVAC, and other energy systems & end-uses in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.
  • Develop energy savings analyses and cost estimates for the installation of recommended improvements using company-provided software and tools and scoping potential fits with utility/program sponsor goals and guidelines.
  • Arrange for financing and incentives to help make the improvements more affordable, working with some of the most aggressive utility-sponsored initiatives in the United States. 
  • Complete final proposals and presentations to interested prospects for the installation of recommended improvements.
  • Secure customer acceptance
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of energy efficiency, infrastructure renewal, and clean energy opportunities to offer prospective clients.

This is a full-time 40-hour position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Hours may periodically include nights and weekends and overtime may be requested as determined by the needs of the department.

 

Travel: 

Frequent local travel expected for this position. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Ability to adapt quickly, self-manage, have proactive work skills to problem solve, and be a team participant.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;
