Your Role
As a Field Engineer, you will conduct hands-on field inspections of power boilers, pressure vessels, power piping, steam turbines, and related critical components. The position is based out of our Cranston, RI office. The successful candidate is willing to learn and apply project management, nondestructive testing, metallurgy, and applicable codes and standards for the power generation and process industries. This position requires 60%-70% travel.
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
• Experience writing technical reports (sample will be required at time of interview)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software to include, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Valid US Passport or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
• Ability to effectively interact with employees from all levels within an organization
• Self-starter
• Ability to practice discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
• 1+ years’ experience conducting field services within a related industry.
